What you upload to Bastro is a customer list — an asset your business runs on. This page states exactly how it is handled: encrypted in both directions, walled off per account, retained on your terms.
Row-level security is the boundary, not a convention: server code queries through the same policy layer, so an application bug cannot casually cross accounts.
Reads and writes only its own rows: scrub jobs, orders, wallet.
Invite-only. No public staff signup exists. Operational consoles: vendors, inventory, orders.
The only role that can change roles. Vendor spend and margin data stop at staff and admin.
Scrub verdicts are only useful if you can produce them later. So job files are retained for your audit trail — and deletion is yours, not a support ticket.
Bastro does not hold SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification today, and you will not find a badge here implying otherwise. What we claim is what this page describes: audit-grade practices — per-account isolation enforced in the database, an append-only credit ledger, evidence stored with every job — stated plainly so you can verify them against your own checklist.
